We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and committed Lead Practitioner in Maths. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new teaching and learning team who will lead best practice in specific subjects and across the school.

King Solomon High School is a unique and wonderful Jewish secondary school set in the London Borough of Redbridge. Our school is inclusive, and our students and staff come from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds.

  • Are you an excellent Maths teacher whose teaching is informed by best practice and current educational research?
  • Are you passionate about raising standards in secondary schools?
  • Are you committed to excellence and rigour to provide a world class educational experience?
  • Do you have drive, vision and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children?
  • Can you hold yourself and others to high standards?

If your answer is yes to all of these questions then you might have found the perfect role and be the right person to join the school’s newly appointed Headteacher in leading this school out of Requires Improvement.

The school is currently going through a period of rapid change and improvement. The new Headteacher is recruiting new staff to transform all aspects of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead real and meaningful change, lead innovation and be part of a great success story.

The newly appointed Headteacher is ambitious for the school’s future, strives for excellence and has high expectations of staff and students.

Please read the applicant information pack for full details of the role and how to apply. Applicants are encouraged to book a phone call with the Headteacher.

The deadline for all applications is 9am on Monday 8th April 2024. However, we will interview suitable candidates as and when we receive applications. We therefore reserve the right to close applications before the published closing date. Candidates interested in the role should apply as soon as possible if they would like to be considered before the closing date.

Candidates can book a phone call with the Headteacher about the role. To arrange this, please email recruitment@kshsonline.uk

Please email all applications and enquiries to recuitment@kshsonline.uk

All applicants will be subject to the safer recruitment process, which includes an enhanced DBS check.

We are an equal opportunities employer and staff do not have to be Jewish to work at the school, but all staff must respect the school’s Jewish ethos.
