We are seeking to appoint an energetic and hardworking Lead Practitioner in Maths. Our ideal candidate will have a passionate and uncompromising commitment to student achievement and be a believer in the potential of young people, with a mind-set that all young people can experience success.
The successful candidate will be a highly successful and experienced teacher/leader of Maths who will join our Maths team to play a leading and highly visible role in the ongoing development and improvement of teaching and learning across the Faculty and academic success of all students, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and achievement in the subject area.
As Lead Practitioner of Maths, the successful candidate will work to provide outstanding learning opportunities and instill a love of learning. Ashton Sixth Form College is the leading provider of 16-18 education in the area. The college is located in Tameside, Greater Manchester and supports around 2,000+ students on A-Level and vocational programmes. The college also offers a number of Adult and Higher Education courses.
