Required for September 2018
Kirkby High School wish to appoint an enthusiastic highly motivated Lead Practitioner of English to drive the next phase of teaching and learning excellence within the subject. You will report to the head of faculty but will also work closely with the SLT link person responsible for teaching, learning and assessment. Working within this team you will also make significant contributions to whole school teaching and learning development.
The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences in the classroom, and keen to contribute to wider aspects of school life.

You will be working in a modern, well-resourced, supportive environment, which has excellent facilities.
There are currently 837 students at the school. The school ethos is central to our mission of “Excellence for All”.
