Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Lead Practitioner of Mathematics to teach across the full age and ability range, make a significant contribution, in own classes and beyond and to achieve outstanding outcomes for students. You will be an exemplar of teaching practice, lead the improvement of quality first teaching and continuously improve learning outcomes.

Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form believes that providing the best educational experience for students requires us to give our staff the time and resources to make a difference. Allocated time for a standard scale teacher is therefore usually about 80% (40 out of 50 lessons), however this is reduced for Leadership posts. Great emphasis is placed on supporting teachers at all phases in their career to develop through bespoke CPD.
