The Role

Leadership, Responsibilities and Objectives

This role will include:

a) Leadership and development of colleagues across the school at KS3, KS4.

b) Organisation of appropriate CPD for individuals and whole staff according to need.

c) Monitoring and evaluating the performance individual teachers and significantly contributing to their continuous improvement.

d) Recording and evidencing support provided as well as the impact of this support.

e) Actively working to improve whole school targets of teaching and learning.

f) Representing the school internally and externally as required.

g) Engagement with the community of the school and beyond as well as Chapel St.

We would expect the successful applicant to be an outstanding teacher who can evidence experience of successfully improving progress at KS3 and KS4 in Science.
