Actual salary: £24,442 - £26,060

Contract: 37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only + 10 Days

Subject to a 6-Month Probationary Period

Morley Newlands Academy, (formally Morley Newlands Primary School) joined The GORSE Academies Trust on 1 March 2015 and has quickly formed a close partnership with primary and secondary academy colleagues within the Trust. We are immensely proud that, in its inspection of January 2018, Morley Newlands Academy was judged to be Outstanding in all areas. We are a large primary school, with over 650 children from Nursery age right up to Year 6. Situated close to the centre of Morley in south Leeds, our academy serves families from across the local community. In September 2014 the school moved from an old, run down building to new state of the art accommodation, with excellent facilities to support our children, their families and the local community. 

We are looking to appoint a Lead Child Protection/Safeguarding Officer to work alongside our Inclusion Leader to Steer on all safeguarding and child protection matters as a Designated Child Protection Officer for a 650-student school with 80 staff, with oversight of training, monitoring, reporting, and recording concerns.
