We have a vacancy for a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified Lead Science Technician. Successful applicants will be expected to provide a full range of technical support services to the Science Faculty to aid teaching in all science subjects. A scientific background and laboratory experience are essential, as is knowledge of the practical needs of the science curriculum and the ability to prepare materials and resources for teaching laboratories.

Ilford County High School is a selective, all-boys grammar school with a sixth form, situated in Barkingside, Essex. The school is non-denominational, with 900 pupils studying in the main school and 250 in the sixth form. Admission to Year 7 is via an 11-plus examination supervised by the London Borough of Redbridge.
All students study a broad and balanced curriculum, culminating in the English Baccalaureate and going on to A level study. We are committed to providing a high quality, fully inclusive, grammar school education to all the students who attend our school.
