Staffordshire University Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Lead Student Support Officer to join the team.  

We have access to high quality facilities and resources and work within a strong team structure that allows best practice to be shared. The successful candidate will join a team of friendly and supportive colleagues who want to achieve the very best outcomes for our students.

The successful candidate will effectively lead the student support team within the academy to ensure all students with SEND are supported effectively to achieve to the best of their ability. You will have experience with timetabling support staff effectively, informed of the legal requirements regarding student’s SEND entitlements, co-ordinate the planning and delivery of SEND interventions and monitor the quality of provision by the team. Be knowledgeable on co-ordinating the collation and submission of evidence to support applications for additional funding and EHCPs.
