Peareswood Primary School is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Lead Teacher, responsible for teaching and learning across the School.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, current teacher looking to progress into leadership. You will be the lead learner and be responsible for increasing the proportion of good and outstanding teaching across the school. The role involves modelling best practice in your own class and developing strategies to improve teaching across the school. This post is ideal for current teachers who are on the upper end of the main pay scale and are looking for the next stage of their career. Peareswood Primary School is part of the successful and expanding Woodland Academy Trust.

Due to the seniority of the post, candidates will be invited to take part in an interview, lesson observation and asked to prepare a 10 minute presentation entitled ‘Outstanding use of assessment to improve outcomes for all pupils’.
