Job overview

All Souls is a vibrant one form entry school with fantastic children, supportive parents and a friendly Christian Ethos. We are situated in the heart of London’s West End.

The Village is a new provision for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) which has been added to the school to complement its already excellent SEND provision.

The Governors are looking to appoint a lead teacher.
Salary: MPS 4 – 6 + TLR (grading of TLR will be based on experience).

This person will play a key role, supported by the SENDCO, in opening and maximising the success of our new specialist provision for up to ten primary school aged children with ASD. The provision is due to open in September 2019 for a small number of children (up to five) and it will be slowly expanding in size from there. The provision will be situated in a newly redesigned section in the heart of the school building.

The successful candidate will be a talented, passionate and suitably experienced practitioner. They must have a clear understanding and experience of effective teaching and learning as well as of raising and sustaining achievement within specialist ASD provision. They must be a strong communicator and team player and able to engage effectively with the children, staff and parents/ carers on a daily basis. They will also need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the belief in the potential of every individual child as well as the drive to support all children become the best they can be.

You will be joining a friendly and hardworking team who constantly strive to raise standards for the children and themselves within a successful primary school.

Viewings of the school prior to making an application are highly recommended from the week beginning Monday 25th March. Please also feel free to call and speak to Kate McCarter the SENDCO if you require any further information on 0207 641 4707.

The closing date for application is: Tuesday 23rd April 2019
Short listing will take place on: Wednesday 24th April 2019
Interviews will be held later that week and the following week: Wednesday 1st May

We learn and grow through faith, hope and love.
