Valley Park Primary School, part of the successful Mercia Learning Trust, is seeking to appoint an aspiring Lead Teacher/Teaching and Learning Coach to join our inspiring and ambitious school community. We are looking for a talented, conscientious and committed professional who believes that all children can achieve high standards and who will ensure that our pupils have access to a broad and balanced curriculum.     

As Lead Teacher you will:

  • Have a proven record of success as a practitioner and expertise in empowering children to make rapid progress
  • Have an excellent understanding of how children learn
  • Demonstrate the ability to coach colleagues towards excellence in teaching
  • Promote a compelling culture of inclusion throughout the school community enabling all children to achieve their best overcoming barriers to learning and participation
  • Have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills

Being part of the Mercia Learning Trust is leading to many interesting developments, including a shared approach to KS2, 3 and 4 which means we now have a stronger influence on our children’s lives from age 3 to 19.
