Lead Teacher for Technology

York High School is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher to support the leadership of the technology team by helping to develop the subject team and improve teaching and learning, in order to ensure the highest standards of achievement and progress of pupils.

The successful candidate must have the ability to teach across the age and ability range, and inspire, motivate and challenge young people. They will be an outstanding practitioner with excellent interpersonal skills, and will be committed to contributing to the personal development of all the young people we teach.

York High is a mixed 11–16 school serving a genuinely comprehensive intake. The last 4 years have seen rapid and sustained change with the school earning a ‘good’ judgement from Ofsted in September 2022.
