The Castle @ Theale is a brand new provision for students aged 11-19 with SEMH and ASD run by The Castle School. We are planning to welcome our first students onto a carefully designed resource in September 2022. Do you want to be part of shaping its future?

We are delighted to be seeking to appoint an exceptional educator and leader to work closely with the Deputy Headteacher and wider school team to develop and deliver exceptional learning environments and to develop and deliver an exciting curriculum in a truly therapeutic environment.

This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for someone with SEMH experience, team leadership skills, a passion for person centred learning and therapeutic approaches, to be integral in planning, shaping and growing this new provision, to make a genuine difference and be part of shaping lives within our community.

The core purpose of this person’s role will be to ensure:

• The effective planning for and monitoring of student progress, social and emotional development. 

• Support the teams to meet the individual needs of all students as they change and evolve. 

• To ensure a positive and inclusive wider school community

• Promoting therapeutic learning environments focused on positive wellbeing for both students and colleagues.
