The Limes College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Vocational Instructor to oversee the development and implementation of our vocational curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards and equips our students with the skills necessary for a successful career in the construction sector. This innovative facility will offer construction-related courses leading to City & Guilds qualifications, preparing students for successful careers in the industry.

This position is term time plus 5 INSET Days plus an additional week to be worked during school holidays following usual work pattern:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm;

• Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in the construction industry and vocational setting;

• Relevant vocational qualification in construction or a related field;

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels;

• Strong knowledge of City & Guilds qualifications and vocational training frameworks;

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction training environments;

• A passion for empowering learners through practical education.

• Strong leadership and curriculum development skills.
