Job overview

We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified individual who can combine their previous experience of youth work and developing sports opportunities for young people. You will be part of the Student Services Team based at the Merton Campus to support a diverse student cohort, by providing a varied and suitable programme to enhance their learning experience. You will have suitable experience of working with young people predominately aged 16-19 and knowledge of external sporting organisations that can be engaged to increase sports opportunities for students. By previously managing the behaviour of students to ensure positive outcomes, you will find great reward in working with the team, to work with students to set high aspirations and support them to work towards these. This will include directly delivering sessions to student groups in sport and other areas that contribute to their development and them achieving on their relevant programme of study. You will also utilise your skills to see a caseload of students for 1-2-1 meetings to support them to achieve.
