Job overview

We require from September 2018 (or sooner if possible) either a full-time, or substantial part-time, well-qualified, inspirational and enthusiastic Leader of Art. 

To be successful, you will be an outstanding Art teacher with a proven ability to teach from Year 7 to A Level, with energy and passion for your subject. You will need to have good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of a variety of media, and a desire to pass on drawing skills. 

You will also need to be confident in the assessment of Art for GCSE and A Level.

A relocation support scheme may be available.

I have been a member of the staff team here at Southend High School for Boys since January 2005, taking on the role of Interim Headteacher from September this year. Every day is rewarding.
