Our client is an innovative and future-focused Catholic Systemic School for Girls. The school seeks to empower students to be lifelong learners able to operate with confidence in a complex, information-rich and globalised world.


Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced teachers for this exciting position. This role attracts a 2 point remuneration and a significant time allocation. This is a full-time ongoing position commencing Term 3, 2022 or by negotiation.


About the role:

The Leader of Innovation & Partnerships holds particular responsibility for the development and implementation of a future-focused learning vision that is grounded in creativity, innovation and forward thinking. The role exists to work as part of a learning team to transform the school into an innovative centre of excellence that values a global perspective and aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge to access the world beyond the classroom. The role works with the Director of Learning and Teaching, Director of Integrated Learning, Leader of Learning Pathways and Heads of Department as part of the Learning Innovation Team. This position seeks, fosters and aligns strategic partnerships with tertiary institutions, industry and community to facilitate highly effective evidence based learning opportunities that are grounded in real-world learning experiences. The role facilitates innovative programs that provide a model of excellence in education. 


The successful applicant will:

  • Support the mission and ethos of the Catholic School.
  • Be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively.
  • Lead and develop ongoing and sustainable partnerships with industry, education institutions, and the broader community.
  • Seek, support and develop appropriate partnerships to advance the College's position including the provision of learning technologies and resources.
  • Effectively cultivate and foster relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Lead, plan and develop innovative practices across the College that support highly effective, future focused learning for all students aligned with Global Capabilities, STEAM, Entrepreneurship, Critical and Creative Thinking skills.
  • Implement significant and sustainable school improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with staff to build teacher and student capacity by contributing to the leadership and development of professional learning.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Have previous demonstrable leadership of learning in an educational context.
