Argyle Primary School, an ambitious school in central London, requires a dynamic and inspirational leader of literacy to build on our current successes and drive further improvement

 The postholder will deliver a strategic direction and development in Language and Literacy to ensure that our provision and achievement are outstanding.

The postholder will work closely with the wider senior leadership team.

 The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate care for children and an understanding of how to help them make good academic progress. They will have excellent communication skills and be both self-motivating and a supportive team member.

 Argyle is a thriving, busy and high-achieving school where children make very good progress due to their good attitude to learning and the teamwork and commitment of staff.

 This post involves engaging in regular activity with children, any applicant wishing to work around children can expect to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
