We are an oversubscribed grammar school, complimented by our most recent (2015) outstanding OFSTED inspection on all aspects, including our success in promoting good pupil attitudes and behaviour.
Due to retirement, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and influential Leader of Science to head our current team of sixteen well-qualified and experienced practitioners and five technicians.
You will be an outstanding science teacher with team leadership expertise, proven ability to teach from Year 7 to A Level, with an energy and passion for your subject.
You will be hard-working, organised, skilled in communication, able to motivate and inspire others, as well as enjoying working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent results for all pupils.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
