Due to the expansion of Robert Clack School to a third site in September 2020, we would like to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Leader of the Learning Community (Head of Year) to join our successful school from September 2020.  

All subject areas will be considered.  We are also currently advertising for teachers of English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, ICT and Religious Education.

Robert Clack School prides itself on teamwork and achievement.  Candidates must have significant pastoral and curriculum experience, as well as experience of teaching at Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.  They must demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning, while promoting outstanding progress and attainment for all.  

We are looking for an individual who has:-

• Qualified Teacher Status;

• Experience and knowledge of teaching within a secondary school (ages 11-18);

• Good subject and curriculum knowledge;

• Record of / commitment to outstanding teaching and pupil progress;

• Experience of or a commitment to wider school responsibilities;

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;

• A motivator by example of pupils, staff and parents;

• An appreciation and an understanding of a school at the heart of the community.
