We are looking for an LMS (Learner Management System) administrator who can manage and oversee our internal LMS called Aptem. This would primarily involve uploading content, labelling it accurately and ensuring that the right content is assigned to the right learners.
This role would be perfect for someone who is incredibly well organised, is proficient using online systems, is a quick learner and has an excellent eye for detail.
Role Description
• Administer our LMS (Aptem), including: setting up programmes, uploading e-learning content, building reports, dealing with learner queries relating to content
• Create and manage user structures, including assigning user permissions, log ins etc.
• Training coaches on usage of content side of LMS and dealing with internal enquiries
• Create reports as needed on content usage and learner submissions
• Identify and suggest process or quality improvements and provide feedback on usage and enhancements
• Effectively prioritise, plan and project manage workload in line with business requirements
• Work collaboratively with the content team to ensure all digital content is uploaded and available in a timely manner for learners to access
• Acting as the first point of contact for any colleague queries relating to content on the LMS.
• Liaising with the LMS supplier regarding any support or technical issues relating to content.
• Uploading learning courses onto the LMS and testing them to ensure that they work efficiently.
• Administering and maintaining learning records on the LMS including— assigning system roles, developing system dashboards, uploading courses, creating course pages, creating learning programmes and creating certifications.
• Build other learning components using other e-learning tools such as Articulate (training available)
• Any other duties that management considers appropriate
Experience
• Good general education with minimum GCSE C or equivalent in English and Maths
• Self-starter with a “can do” attitude, able to work independently
• Adaptable and quick to pick up on new systems
• Interest in online learning and learning technologies
• Good analytical skills with an excellent attention for detail
• Well organised, and able to plan, prioritise and manage own time
• Ideally experience of administering a Learning Management System (LMS)
• A good working knowledge of the MS Office packages including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• A good level of skill in manipulating data and creating reports and ideally experience in creating MS Power BI reports
• Experience of providing a consistently great service to colleagues across all levels of an organisation.
