We are looking for Learning Support Workers to join the Learning Support Service providing support to learners who have a range of support requirements that put them at greater risk of social exclusion and or academic failure. These may relate to a disability or learning difficulty or other ‘at risk’ groups such as looked after children, care leavers and young carers.

The positions are available at our Merton campus. You will have a clear understanding of the range of support needs and the best strategies for supporting learners which may include mentoring and note-taking support. 

You will be supporting learners studying across the whole range of College courses from entry to Level 4, therefore, you should have a level two qualification in English and Maths. 

The working hours may be spread across 5 days and may include working evenings and weekends during term time (38 weeks per annum).
