Due to internal promotion; we’re currently looking for a Learning & Development Administrator, to support the efficient, effective and accurate administration and reporting of digital and non-digital learning processes in line with company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to day to day ‘standard’ issues and inquiries from Moodle email in box
- To have a reasonably in depth understanding of Moodle learning platform, and be able to change information and generate reports as required.
- To escalate and work with Digital Learning Lead on non-standard Moodle issues, liaising with platform supplier with regards to actions and responses as required.
- When required to, work alongside wider internal teams to resolve internal system issues that affect Learner outcomes.
- To liaise with service teams across our operational sites to collate specific non-digital learning information, recording and reporting effectively.
- Working alongside the Head of Learning, to liaise with 3rd party suppliers to deliver effective good value learning outcomes.
- Working alongside the National Training Centre Manager to support awarding body requirements, this could include booking rooms, registering learning with Awarding bodies, issuing and recording certification, managing learning invoicing, minute taking in standardisation meetings, work alongside Centre Manager to coordinate requirements of external inspections.
- Work with wider L&D team and operational teams to collect information for case studies and newsletters.
- Where required, work alongside wider L&D team to support general administration tasks.
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
- Good level of Literacy and Numeracy to GCSE grade 5 or above.
- Good level of ability in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Interest in and ability to learn and use L&D Systems (Moodle)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels with confidence (verbal and written)
- Experience of administration, ideally within an L&D/HR setting (but not essential)
- Ability to take accurate notes
- Have an enquiring mind and initiative to seek answers
- Highly organised
- Ability to deal with matters confidentially and in line with data protection requirements
