We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning and Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference to pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing, including those with SEND and EHCPs.

About the Role

 

As a Learning and Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school, working closely with teachers and senior leaders to deliver high‑quality learning experiences. You will provide tailored support for individuals and small groups, contribute to interventions, and help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

·        Support pupils’ learning, social development, and wellbeing, including those with SEND and EHCPs

·        Work alongside teachers to deliver classroom learning and targeted interventions

·        Support pupils during lessons, break times, lunch times, and enrichment activities

·        Assist in preparing learning materials, displays, and classroom resources

·        Support behaviour management in line with school policies

·        Provide wholeclass cover when required

·        Assist with assessments and provide feedback to staff and parents as directed

·        Participate in training, CPD, and school development activities

·        Accompany pupils on trips and outofschool activities when required
