Queensmead Primary Academy is a vibrant and caring school filled with wonderful pupils and a committed and enthusiastic team who strive to provide quality experiences to enhance our pupils lives.

Working under the direction of the Class Teacher, you will promote development and learning, and will help to ensure our pupils make progress. Your responsibilities may involve working with small groups or on a one to one basis to support pupils of all abilities and with a variety of needs, including SEN.

You should:

  • have a range of behaviour management strategies and teaching skills
  • be well organised and have high expectations of achievement,      behaviour and progress
  • possess excellent communication skills at all levels in order to be      able to liaise effectively with parent/carers and outside agencies
  • have experience of working      with children, preferably in a school setting

The role is for 32.5 hours a week, term time only therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
