We are seeking passionate and committed One to One Learning Assistants to support named pupils at the Woodvale Primary Academy.
The role:
The Woodvale Primary Academy currently has a team of friendly and hardworking staff who strive to challenge and support the pupils to achieve their potential from an early age. We are seeking to appoint committed and talented Learning Assistants to work with named pupils on a one to one basis.
Working under the direction of the class teacher, you will promote development and learning, and will help to ensure full participation. This position is fixed term, as it is linked to pupil funding
About you:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- a range of behaviour management methods and teaching skills;
- have previous experience of working in a similar role;
- possess excellent communication skills at all levels in order to be able to liaise effectively with parent/carers and outside agencies;
- be able to build a relationship with pupils in order to support one to one working;
- be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

The Woodvale Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust is a vibrant and caring school located in Northampton. It has the capacity to cater for 474 pupils from Nursery to Year 6. Both the academy and the Trust are committed to improving the life chances of pupils.

The role is for 31.25 hours a week, term time only (39 weeks) therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
