£15,807- £17,772 per annum (£11,633 - £13,080 pro-rata)

We are seeking a passionate and committed Learning Assistant to support pupils at the Danesholme Infant Academy.
Working under the direction of the Class Teacher, you will promote development and learning, and will help to ensure full participation. This position is fixed term, as it is linked to pupil funding and will include working with small groups and on a one to one basis.
- have a range of behavior management methods and be able to adapt learning strategies to meet the needs of specific pupils
- be able to build rapport with pupils in order to support one to one working
- be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and behavior
- possess excellent communication skills at all levels in order to be able to liaise effectively with parent/carers and outside agencies.
The Danesholme Infant Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is located in Corby next to the Danesholme Junior Academy. Previous experience of working in a similar role or with children with Special Educational Need as well as holding a First Aid certificate would be advantageous.
This role is for 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday and is required in term time only; therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
