Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Learning Assistant to join us on our journey, ideally with an NVQ level 3

We have recently completed a major refurbishment of the school and we now have a modern building with impressive facilities.  We also have very large grounds which include a forest school area, pond, garden and two large playgrounds. We very much welcome you to come and have a visit before submitting your application. Please call the school reception to arrange a suitable time.

The successful candidate should have experience in working in classroom and will work alongside and support the Class Teacher, making effective use of resources in order to achieve the highest standards of learning and achievement for all children. 

Working hours:  30.66 per week

Pro Rata Salary:  (£17,007 to £17,391)

The ideal candidate will be able to: 

• Assist in preparing the classroom, receiving children and clearing away 

• Assist in planning activities and preparing materials to help the children access the Foundation Stage curriculum 

• Lead and support class, group and individual activities, indoors and outdoors, including during teachers PPA time 

• Assist in monitoring children's progress, assessing achievement and recording results and observations, sharing outcomes with the class teacher 

Interviews will be held week beginning 4th March
