Actual Salary:  £14,341 - £15,084 including London Weighting (HO3 £18,657 - £19,623), 32.5 hours per week (8.30 – 4pm), term-time only  

Park High School is a highly successful 11-18 mixed school with nearly 1600 students in a pleasant location in Stanmore.  The school achieves excellent results and the high quality of relationships is frequently commented upon. Ofsted (2013) judged the school outstanding in all areas.  We are looking to appoint a talented and committed individual with the qualities, skills and drive necessary to fulfil this key role in the Learning Development Department, working with students with special educational needs.  

You should have a good all round education and have GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).  This post may suit a candidate with a first degree who has an interest in education. Some experience of working with students of secondary school age is preferable.  You will also be interested in developing your 1:1 support for students. This vacancy has arisen as a result of current Learning Assistants progressing to PGCE and further education courses.
