This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join the Corby Primary Academy.
The ideal Learning Assistant will reinforce the excellent work of the teaching staff by supporting individuals or small groups both within and outside of the classroom environment. You will be a professional role model to the pupils, with the confidence to challenge and the creativity to motivate.
The Corby Primary Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), offers a state of the art building with extensive grounds. The academy has been growing year on year and will continue until at full capacity. It has fantastic community and parental support and received an “Outstanding” in its first Ofsted inspection.
To be successful you must have:
- excellent communication skills
- the ability to provide support that is second to none
- experience of working with young people or children
- first rate team working skills
- a professional approach and high personal standards.

This role is for 21.25 hours a week, Monday to Friday, and is required in term time only; therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
