Learning Centre Manager
LGPS 7 £18253 - £20017 (FTE £21074 - £23111)
The Learning Centre at Gosford Hill School is a modern facility offering a variety of services to students to support their learning. These include a library, computer access, staff on hand to offer support and advice, and special events to promote learning. There are quiet spaces for private study and areas for small group work. The facility is available to students from 8.30am to 4pm.
We are seeking to appoint a friendly and resourceful Manager who is keen to develop and manage the Centre as the school community’s place of excellence where reading is promoted through the Accelerated Reader Programme, and where students are able to pursue other activities in a welcoming environment.
Gosford Hill School is situated in Kidlington, on the north western edge of Oxford near to the new Oxford Parkway Station (a 50 minute journey from London), with ample staff parking and on the main bus route into Oxford. We work closely with Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. We are also fortunate to be at the gateway to the rural Cotswolds. We prioritise staff well being and development and our ‘Golden Ticket’ scheme rewards strong staff attendance. Visits to the school, by arrangement, are welcome.
