We do this as an ambitious group of multi-disciplinary specialists by facilitating transformative, experiential equity and inclusion education and partnering with our clients through consultancy to re-design their policies and processes to operationalise equitable ecosystems for their people and products. 

The Role

Location: Remote, with access to co-working spaces. We are an entirely ‘remote’ organisation. We invite applicants located in the UK and East Coast of the US only (due to team timezone needs), who have the right to work in either of these locations as unfortunately we are not sponsoring work visas at this time.

Role Type: Full Time, permanent.

Salary: Senior Manager pay band.

  • £45,000-£55,000* per annum, if UK-based.
  • $65,000-$75,000* per annum, if East-Coast based.

*Precise salary will be decided within the band on the basis of experience and skillset.

What will the role involve? 

  • Exceptional facilitation of Fearless Futures programmes.
  • Designing, building, testing and executing on Fearless Futures transformational anti-oppression learning design content.
  1. This includes creating new anti-oppression learning design content as well as innovating, extending and improving existing content.
  2. This role involves both ideating as well as executing - creating the necessary documents and resources for roll out of content changes. 
  •  Liaising with our clients about learning design content, our pedagogical framework and working with them to develop content in line with their needs.
  • Highly effective mentorship of 1 or 2 trainee facilitators. This requires observing them, offering feedback and supporting them to prepare to deliver programmes.
  • Proactively engaging with feedback from participants, facilitators and other staff to iterate on our learning design content and approach for sustained excellence.
  • Close collaboration with the CEO and CPO at Fearless Futures and the wider pedagogy team. 

The role will report into our Chief Programmes Officer, Sara Shahvisi (she/her) based in London, UK. 

Role requirements

  • At least 5 years work experience.
  • Strong experience in delivering dynamic educational journeys, this could be classroom teaching with children/young people or workplace training.
  1. Some training in teaching/facilitation principles.
  • Strong experience in delivering effective educational journeys and resources. Again, this could be classroom teaching with children/young people or workplace training.
  1. Some robust training in learning design principles.
  • Extremely deep and up-to-date anti-oppression knowledge across nine systems of oppression: colonialism, racism, islamophobia, anti semitism, sexism, hetertosexism, cissexism, disablism and classism.
  • Familiarity with “diversity and inclusion” trends and themes in the workplace.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication.
  • Creative and adaptable when unexpected challenges occur.
  • High standards.
  • Tenacity and perseverance.

Interview process 

  1. Round 1: week commencing 7th February, 2022. This will involve a live assessment of your facilitation skills and your learning design capabilities and a short interview. This will be with our CEO, Chief Programmes Officer and Chief Relationships Officer. All assessment activities will be live so you will not be required to prepare anything outside of the hours of the interview. Approx. duration: 3 hours.
  2. Round 2: week commencing 21st January, 2022. This will involve another live assessment of your learning design skills and an interview. This will be with our CEO, Chief Programmes Officer and Chief Relationships Officer. All assessment activities will be live so you will not be required to prepare anything outside of the hours of the interview. Approx. duration: 2 hours. 
  3. Round 3: week commencing 28th February, 2022. This will be an interview with our CEO and Chief Programmes Officer. Approx. duration: 1 hour.
