As the Learning Development & Inclusion Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential. Collaborating closely with the SENDCo, you’ll lead the operational management and deployment of our dedicated Learning Support Team. Your commitment to high standards and effective resources will empower pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage and deploy the Learning Support Team efficiently, ensuring targeted support for all pupils.
- High Expectations: Set rigorous expectations for pupil learning and achievement, tailoring methods and resources to individual needs.
- Inclusion Advocacy: Champion inclusivity, ensuring vulnerable pupils receive the necessary support to thrive academically and emotionally.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parents, carers, and the Learning Support team to create a supportive network.
- External Agencies: Oversee arrangements with external agencies, including Drumbeat, Speech and Language, and Educational Psychology services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant experience in education or learning support.
- Strong communication skills and empathy.
- Knowledge of SEND requirements and policies.
- Ability to adapt to diverse pupil needs.
Hours: 35 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time only + 5 Inset Days)
