Welcome to Latymer Upper School. We are a vibrant, forward-thinking and co-educational independent secondary school in West London. Established in 1624 by the generosity of Edward Latymer and located in Hammersmith since 1895, the School upholds its founding principles of generosity and educational excellence.

With around 1,400 students the success of our Inspiring Minds campaign started by the Latymer Foundation in 2017, means that by the end of the year, we are on target to have one in four students benefiting from a bursary.

Latymer Upper School is at the forefront of education reform and from 2027, our bespoke Middle School curriculum will replace traditional GCSEs. This innovative approach will develop critical thinking, resilience, collaboration, creativity and problem-solving, preparing them for the independent learning required at A-level. Our students go on to secure places at prestigious universities including Oxbridge, North American and European institutions and are well set for success in the modern workplace.

We foster a welcoming and cosmopolitan environment and our commitment to individualised education ensures that Latymerians are not only highly academic but also well-rounded, grounded individuals.

We are also really proud to have teachers who help raise generations of young people to be passionate about their learning, students who support each other and a network of loyal Latymerian alumni.
