Job Description

We are looking for a Learning Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Multinational School Bahrain. The Learning Enrichment Assistant will work with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to help them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group support to students with SEND
  • Help students with literacy, numeracy, and other academic skills
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene needs
  • Provide emotional support and guidance
  • Work with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Attend meetings and contribute to discussions about student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Communicate daily with parents regarding progress


Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with SEND
  • A good understanding of the needs of students with SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, understanding, and compassion
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

About Multinational School - Bahrain

Introduction

Multinational School Bahrain is an inclusive BSO (British Schools Overseas) accredited private school situated in the suburb of Adliya in Manama, Bahrain. The school caters for students from Nursery to Year 13 and boasts a dedicated Learning Enrichment Department offering support to students with varying educational requirements.

History

The school’s campus has a long and colourful history having previously housed the U.S. Embassy and the New York Institute of Technology prior to becoming a school in 2013.

The school initially followed the Australian curriculum before switching to the British curriculum under its new ownership in 2017 and is now a fully accredited British School Overseas. The vibrant and welcoming school community now comprises of over 50 different nationalities and continues to go from strength to strength.
