Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are 2 weeks experience supporting students in the last two years.
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a an enthusiastic and patient Learning Facilitator to join our successful supply teaching support team. The Learning Support Assistant role is due to start immediately on an ad hoc basis, with the possibility of work during school holidays and on a longer term contract for the right candidate.
The role:
To support, mentor and help develop a team of up to 15 diverse 12-16 year olds through the NCS Schools Programme working closely alongside your Team Leader. This is a part time role consisting of 2 half days per week working in a local secondary school delivering mentoring sessions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, is passionate about social action and has experience working in an educational environment. This role would be suitable for someone who is based in or close to South Lincolnshire, Long sutton , Holbeach, Spalding.
Requirements:
To be considered for the position of Learning Facilitator you will:
- Have recent experience supporting students with additional needs.
- Have experience in an educational setting with students under the age of 16
- Ideally have your own transport.
