The Trafford College Group (TCG) has a fantastic opportunity for a number of Learning Facilitators. In this challenging and rewarding role you will work as part of the Inclusion Team to support young people and adults with additional needs (including SEMH needs – social, emotional and mental health), enabling them to access education and to increase their independence.

The Trafford College Group has recently entered the next exciting phase of its journey through the merger with Cheadle and Marple 6th Form College. The merger will provide the Group with a unique opportunity to further shape and direct 16-19 and adult education across the borough of Stockport.

The Job:

You will work closely with tutors to effectively facilitate the learning process on a range of courses, enabling groups and individuals with differing needs and disabilities to achieve their learning objectives. You will support English and Maths skills as appropriate using differentiation techniques and work with identified students supporting the delivery of objectives within Education Health Care plans.

You will respond to student enquiries and provide advice on learning opportunities and support systems and work co-operatively with other areas of the Group to provide a corporate Group service.

To be successful in this position you must have a Level 2 Learning Support Qualification (or be willing to achieve within 2 years) and level 2 maths and English (or be prepared to work towards).
