Outwood Academy Kirkby is an 11-16 academy, based in the market town of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, on the eastern edge of the Erewash Valley which separates Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Part of the Outwood Family since September 2022, Outwood Academy Kirkby places students at the centre of everything it does, with a focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, and increased student outcomes whilst developing their social and emotional resilience and creating a positive climate for learning.
Required to start as soon as possible, we have an exciting opportunity and are looking to recruit a Learning Manager to provide support and direction to students in order for them to achieve their potential in all aspects of Academy life. You must have experience of working within a school environment and the ability to deal with vulnerable students, as well as being extremely well organised and the ability to prioritise your workload to ensure that deadlines are met.
The ability to work on your own initiative and work within a team environment is key.
