Joining the Outwood Family of Schools in 2022, we are committed to providing an exceptional education for every student and are currently awaiting our first Ofsted inspection as part of the Trust.

Under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Lee Wilson and Principal Mark Golden, we foster a welcoming and supportive environment where students are at the heart of everything we do. We are driven by a relentless determination to cultivate a culture of success and a positive climate for learning, ensuring that learning is both enjoyable and enriching. Our holistic approach to education aims to create a safe, secure, and thriving learning community that promotes healthy and sustainable lifestyles, empowering students to explore and pursue stimulating and rewarding career pathways.

As part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, we benefit from a high-quality learning and cultural environment that inspires and motivates both students and staff. The Trust is committed to leadership development, succession planning, and capacity building, facilitating rapid progression for those seeking advancement at all levels. This commitment is reflected in the achievements of other Outwood academies, all of which have received the IQM Inclusive Schools Award, with many achieving Centre of Excellence status and one holding Flagship status. We strive to achieve the same high standards at Outwood Academy Kirkby.
