West Suffolk College is one of the country’s leading further education and apprenticeship providers. Our apprenticeship results have consistently remained above the national average. We offer many degrees, HNCs and HNDs at our focused and inclusive University Studies Centre. We have around 13,000 students including nearly 2,000 apprentices studying with us.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about SEND to join our evolving Inclusive Learning Team, working across the College in all curriculum areas to identify emerging support needs of students, and provide effective strategies to support them.

Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, you will manage a varied workload which will include delivering tailor-made support to students who need to overcome barriers in their learning and social environment, liaising with other professionals, and working closely with parents.

The successful candidate will be an approachable, organised individual with great communication skills, together with experience of working in a role that supports individual learning needs, with the ability to think creatively and adapt your approach accordingly.
