Do you want to work in an inclusive and welcoming school that is committed to ensuring that all children are happy and make the best possible progress? Do you have experience engaging, supporting and motivating primary aged children who need extra help? If so, this could be the job for you!

Martin Primary School is a large, vibrant and supportive community school in the heart of East Finchley. We are proud to provide an inclusive, happy, safe and exciting learning environment where every child has an equal opportunity to reach his or her full potential. We have a commitment to the role of the school in the community, a collaborative spirit, and an ethos of respecting rights. More information about the school can be found at our website: www.martinprimary.org.uk.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic learning mentor who is dedicated to ensuring that children receive excellent pastoral and learning support and the best possible care. Working with teaching staff, the SENDCo and outside agencies, you will be responsible for assisting in the comprehensive assessment of children and their needs, providing them with appropriate support and guidance and communicating efficiently and effectively with parents.  You will be required to work flexibly, using your initiative to find solutions and overcome challenges.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • are committed to improving the outcomes of all children
  • have previous experience working with children in a school, preferably in a similar role
  • have a commitment to working collaboratively with all members of our school community
  • would like to work in an inclusive, welcoming and supportive team.

The closing date for applications is midday on Thursday 23rd March 2023
