27½ hours per week (£17,085 - £18,143)

Hours: Mon-Fri - 8.45am until 3.15pm.

Contract: Permanent, term time only plus INSET days

Start Date: April 2018 (or sooner if possible)

We are looking for two experienced Learning Mentors to join our thriving, four form entry infant school. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering interventions to vulnerable pupils across our school including Emotional Literacy Support, Lego Therapy and Nurture provision. 

Post 1:  The post holder will be responsible for delivering interventions/support to vulnerable children and those with challenging behaviour, leading a stay and play session for pre-school children one afternoon per week, supporting children with English as an Additional Language, providing a lunchtime club for vulnerable pupils, working with families at the early help stage of intervention, planning and delivering our nurture provision. 

Post 2 : The post-holder will be responsible for delivering interventions/support to  vulnerable children and those with challenging behaviour, planning and delivering PE sessions to Year 1 and Year 2 during PPA afternoons, promoting physical health and well- being through activities at playtime and lunchtime, delivering a multi-skills/football club  after school for KS1 pupils, working with families at the early help stage of intervention.

We are looking for two proactive, resilient and flexible team players who recognise that the role can change from one day to the next. Both candidates will be expected to work closely with external agencies, families, senior leaders and the rest of the inclusion team to ensure that outcomes for our children are as good as they possibly can be.
