Pro rata salary band: Pro rata salary band: £16,562 - £19,405 (9.94 – 11.64 per hour) (Full time, all year-round band: £19,171 to £22,462)

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and pro-active Learning Mentor to work with students who speak English as an additional language.

Joining an established team, the successful candidate will provide valuable support to meet the needs of our students who are newly arrived in the school, supporting in class; on a one to one and small group basis. You will also liaise with parents/carers and on occasions act as translator at meetings.

You will be committed to helping students in removing barriers to learning and flexible, with an understanding on how to motivate students to learn. 

The ability to speak one or more language spoken within the community would be advantageous.

Headteacher - Alison Gallagher

Foxford Community School joined the Castle Phoenix Trust in October 2018, who are committed to supporting the vision and values of the new headteacher. Foxford is a co-educational maintained secondary school situated in Longford, Coventry. The school is for students aged 11-18 and features a sixth form with capacity for 200 students.

The new headteacher started at Foxford in October 2020 including new recruits to her leadership team. They are passionate about ensuring all students have a good education.
