Learning Mentor.

We are looking to appoint a committed professional to the role of Learning Mentor at Ada Lovelace CofE High School. Ada Lovelace is part of the Twyford CofE Trust which is, in the most recent league tables, the highest performing Trust in the country.  The school, and Trust, offers good promotion prospects for motivated and energetic teachers who support the ethos of our schools.    

A Learning Mentor is required to support students in Years 7 – 11 with learning and behavioural difficulties and will sit within the school’s inclusion team; a close knit group of professionals lead by the school’s inclusion lead and SENCO.

Working hours:

8:30am- 4:15pm on Mondays to Thursdays (with 30mins break)

8:30 am- 2:30pm on Fridays

Roles are up to 35 hours per week however part-time applications can be considered, particularly for three or four days per week. Exact hours per week will be discussed and agreed at interview and the salary will therefore be a pro rata figure according to the hours worked.

• Opportunity for a one-to-one meeting with a member of Teach West London’s initial teacher training team to offer you bespoke career support.

• Opportunity to work in KS3 and KS4 classrooms to provide you with a range of experience.

• Opportunity to work closely with the subject you aspire to train to teach in, allowing you to develop the necessary subject knowledge and familiarity with subject’s pedagogical approaches.
