We are seeking a motivated Learning Mentor to join our Learning Support and Enrichment department as a Teaching Assistant. Role Overview:
As a Learning Mentor, you will provide one-to-one or small group support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff and other support services to create an inclusive environment that encourages student engagement, confidence, and success.
Skills and Qualifications:
- No formal qualifications or prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond empathetically.
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new strategies for supporting student wellbeing and progress.
