Actual Salary: £18,224 - £20,688

Contract: 37 hours per week (Term Time Only + 5 days)

 

Subject to a 6-Month Probationary Period

 

The governors of our caring, friendly and rapidly improving academy wish to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly effective Learning Mentor. 

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • is able to provide a complimentary service to teachers and pastoral staff in addressing the needs of children who require support in overcoming barriers to learning both inside and outside of the academy.
  • is able to motivate, inspire and encourage children;
  • is positive and creative;
  • has excellent interpersonal skills;
  • is committed to developing and maintaining close links with the whole community;
  • is able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
  • enjoys working as part of a hardworking and happy team;
  • must have a least GCSE / ‘O’ Level Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
