Chorlton High School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Mentor who is passionate about making a real different to the lives of students

This is a Grade 4, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The pro-rata salary is £22,710 and the full-time equivalent is £26,403.

We’re looking for:

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and has the ability to form excellent relationships with pupils. Experience working in educational or youth support settings is desirable, but more importantly, we’re looking for someone with the empathy, patience and motivation to help young people to achieve.

Main purpose of the job:

As a Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students who may face social, emotional or behavioural challenges. You’ll work closely with teaching staff, parents and other professionals to provide tailored interventions, build trusting relationships and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
