31.50 hours per week, term time only – Salary £14,208 - £16,091

This vacancy is for anyone with the passion and ability to play a significant part in improving the lives of our children. While mostly child-facing, this role does involve considerable contact with parents and ensuring, as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (training will be given), that risk to our children is minimised.

We will be looking for someone who will provide care and challenge of such quality that any barriers our children may have to their learning are shattered and their current enjoyment and achievement at Wray Common is enhanced. Please see the attached application pack and application form.

We are looking for the right person:

• To work preventatively with children and families to provide early intervention, signposting, support and guidance, particularly in times of change, challenge and stress so that all children leave Wray Common with better life chances than when they first entered

• To inspire, enthuse, motivate, challenge and support targeted children to achieve their best

• To promote and impact positively on the attendance of our most vulnerable and disadvantaged

• To carry out role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead so that risk to children is minimised

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
