Full-time appointment from February 2022, 5 days per week, term-time only.

Grade 6, SP 9-16, £25,161 – £28,509 FTE (salary will be paid pro-rata for TTO working; £21,055 - £23,857).

About the school

Heber is a high-achieving, creative and very oversubscribed school in East Dulwich, located close to Lordship Lane with its many great shops, cafes and transport links.  We believe in providing a stimulating, creative and challenging curriculum for each and every one of our pupils.

We wish to appoint a passionate and committed Learning Mentor from February 2022 who will:  

  • Be dedicated and enthusiastic in responding positively to pupils who experience barriers to their learning  
  • Have the highest aspirations for all pupils, regardless of their challenges  
  •  Be able to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and the Inclusion Team to support pupils’ access to learning  
  •  Be competent in developing and implementing action plans tailored to individual pupils, as well as supporting larger groups of pupils  
  •  Work closely with families to achieve positive outcomes for their children  
  • Be able to contribute to a supportive, friendly and highly skilled staff team
