Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Assistant - Part Time

Salary: £18,329 per annum Pro Rata 

22.5 hours per week for 40 weeks per full academic year worked over 3 days per week. To include one evening shift per week and alternate weekends.

The role is customer focused and most of your time will be spent providing guidance on how to use the library effectively, answering questions, dealing with circulation of items, and maintaining an environment that is conducive to studying. For this role you will need to;

• Have excellent communication skills.

• Always put the customer service experience first.

• Have a good working knowledge of IT.

• Have an eye for detail.

• Be flexible and adaptable to different student needs.

• Have an interest in improving the student experience.
